Queen's Pearl
Why is it the forbidden fruit always tastes the sweetest, as if sheltering it in its own secluded groove somehow purifies the traces of poison that so often litter the beings around it? Perhaps it is the purity itself that attracts and not the sweetness of the nectar. Regardless, such temptation should be ignored at all costs, for who knows how it may turn. While I was once the lamb lured by the dark energy of the lion, I am now the lion stalking the lamb. What a world of sorrow this wonderment holds.
Yet waiting for the prize after rigorous work is something worthwhile. Surpassing those who have tried to tread such worn ground and failed, leaving me with a smooth path where untold treasure may await. Feeling the queen’s pearl with my flesh is something I look forward to.
I am rambling.
I suppose what I am trying to say is that waiting is half the fun. At least that is what I suppose.
